Why Private Label Pays Off custom arcade machines OEM When your cabinets carry your own brand, customers remember you — not the factory. For operators running chains or franchises, skipping private label means building someone else's equity instead of your own.
Category | Price / Mix | Best for |
Light OEM | Logo, decals, color scheme — 15/20 days | Lowest MOQ |
Mid-tier | Cabinet color, UI skin, game list — 30/45 days | Most popular |
Full ODM | Custom chassis + proprietary PCB — 60/90 days | Highest cost |
Pick the tier by your volume, not by ambition. Most first-time private-label buyers should start at mid-tier.
MOQ — many factories will not private label below 50 units. Tooling fees — full ODM requires new molds, quoted separately. IP rights — cloning a licensed character is litigation waiting to happen, not a shortcut.
Do not ask about factory size. Ask three specific things: do they have an in-house design team, can they show prior private-label work, and how are tooling fees and MOQ structured. Vague answers on any of the three are a hard no.
Custom arcade machines OEM is the only path to scaling a chain — without it, you are renting shelf space. Have you done a private-label run? Comments below — tell me what went wrong.
