Claw Machine Calibration & Technical Adjustment: Claw Strength, Alignment and Win Rate Tuning

Column:Industry NewsPublication date:2026-10-18page views :2frequency

Claw machine calibration is one of the most frequent technical jobs for arcade technicians. Poor claw adjustment leads to complaints, low repeat players and unstable daily income. Three core adjustment items: claw grip strength, mechanical alignment and service menu win probability.

First, mechanical alignment. Check the horizontal and vertical movement of the gantry. Adjust limit switches so the claw stops precisely above the prize position. Loose belts or worn gears will cause position drift, even if software parameters are correct.

Next, claw strength tuning. Most modern claw machines have two strength settings: grab strength and lifting strength. The grab strength determines how tight the claw closes; lifting strength controls holding force during upward movement. Operators usually set higher grab force and lower lifting force for standard play. Test repeatedly after tuning.

Then software win rate in service menu. Set the winning cycle according to your venue plan. Remember to follow local gaming laws. Do not use hidden unfair settings. After finishing adjustment, clean claw rubber pads to avoid slipping.

 FAQ
